The 6-to-7-star Design Training will provide information on how to design an affordable energy-efficient home, with a whole-of-home approach, including:

- Passive solar design principles and the importance of orientation

- Energy efficiency ratings for appliances, what they mean and what the benefits and costs are
These design sessions are appropriate for building designers, energy assessors and builders who work closely with homeowners and their designers throughout the design and construction process.
