Course overview

In this fast-track training course, you will learn to provide first aid response, life support and management of casualties until the arrival of medical or other assistance.

As this is a fast-track course, pre-course reading and assessment is required to be completed prior to attending the one-day practical session. The pre-course reading material will be sent upon enrolment.

Certification remains current for three years, during which time a refresher course should be completed.

This training is supported by HIA and is delivered by an associate Registered Training Organisation (details of our associate RTOs appear at the bottom of this page).

Participants completing this course in these areas will gain skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.
