• Without the risks associated with employing a full-time, indentured apprentice.
• Without having to worry about whether they are being paid the right amount; whether their training is up-to-date, or whether you have collected all the subsidies you’re entitled to.

Finding the right person

Experienced HIA staff interview all potential apprentices and look for enthusiasm for the industry as the key to hiring a successful employee. HIA Apprentices then carefully match the skills and interests of your business with a successful apprentice, then will work with you to help settle the apprentice into your business.  

Commitment

HIA Apprentices prefers that you take an apprentice for a minimum of a year, but we also understand that your business circumstances may change quite quickly. If your needs do change then HIA Apprentices will arrange another placement for your apprentice.  

Managing the costs

With one regular invoice HIA Apprentices will manage all of the employment issues for you. Tax, workers’ compensation, insurance, sick leave, time at training, superannuation, tool allowances, safety gear – HIA Apprentices takes care of all of that, enabling you to cost your jobs knowing the exact cost of your apprentice.
