Fair Work
The Fair Work Act was passed by Federal Parliament on Friday 20 March 2009. The legislation represents a shift from WorkChoices and will be introduced in two stages with the first phase to begin in 1 July 2009. The second phase, effective from 1 January 2010, will introduce national employment standards and modern award system.

Are your 'casuals' really casuals?
