ABN Essentials Trap #2
A common trap occurs when a supplier has an ABN, is not registered for GST, yet includes GST in its invoice. The trap is that the payer, upon receiving such an invoice, doesn’t realise that the supplier is not registered for GST yet pays the supplier the whole invoice amount, including the GST.
