    ABN Essentials - Trap # 2 - Your Supplier has an ABN but is Not Registered for GST (National)

    A common trap is when a supplier has an ABN, is not registered for GST, yet charges GST on its invoice. The trap is that if you have claimed (& received) a tax credit for the GST amount, you have to pay it back to the ATO.
