    AS 3000 Installation requirements for downlights (Nat)

    The new edition of the Australian/New Zealand Standard for Wiring Rules (AS/NZS 3000:2007) was released in November 2007. The new standard makes major changes to the rules for installing downlights, to prevent roof fires. These rules apply in all states and territories now, although some states have a 6 month transition period until May/June 2008.
