Raffi
specialises
in the area of Occupational Health and Safety assisting members of the building industry in a variety of safety matters in his field. Provides solid and practical advice to people involved in the residential building industry, including builders, contractors, trades people, manufacturers and suppliers. He aims to help them understand and comply with there health and safety obligations.
Raffi can advise on a variety of health and safety matters, including high risk work activities, working at heights, general housekeeping, how to keep up to date with paperwork, and presents on-site training to contractors and tradesman.
Raffi assists manufacturers and suppliers to manage safety in the workshop environment by tailoring a safety management system to suite individuals needs. He also represents members of the industry when a WorkCover inspector is involved.

Career History/experience
Completed a Certificate III in Building with additional studies in the field of Residential Site Safety and Building Diploma Studies was awarded a builder’s
licence
. He has taught building and construction studies at TAFE NSW prior to becoming an accredited WorkCover NSW Safety Officer for three years. Prior to joining HIA Safety Services, Raffi was working as a Project Manager/ Safety officer in the residential building industry.
