What's New On The Market

Innovative Ingal

The typical method for builders to obtain steel stair stringers in the current market can be time-consuming and expensive and can often involve a number of suppliers.

Ingal Building Systems have introduced the Ingal Stringer, a range of prefabricated, off-the-shelf stair stringers available through an extensive network of trade hardware stores throughout most states in Australia , reducing costs and making them available to builders at very short notice. All Ingal Stringers are ready to concrete in and bolt on the treads.

Ingal Stringers are available in a range of heights and include all the information necessary to determine the correct Ingal Stringer set required.

Three Good Reasons

The new 3 Wheelbarrow makes light work of heavy lifting and will help anyone needing to protect their back from unnecessary strain.

Capable of easily moving loads up to 100kg without the need for lifting, the 3 Wheelbarrow was invented and patented in Australia by a builder who realised that his bad back would not allow him to continue in his trade unless he came up with an alternative to heavy lifting.

The 3 Wheelbarrow has a swivelling front wheel so is easy to direct, and the sturdy three-wheel design keeps loads from tipping sideways while maintaining the traditional tip-and-pour function. The 3 Wheelbarrow is available from Bunnings stores around the country.

Safety Made Simple

Industrial safety specialist Castell Iso-Lok has developed a new multiclasp padlock for Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. The new multi-clasp has room for six individual padlocks to be attached, allowing multiple workers to lock-off the same machine. The lock will not open until each separate padlock has been removed to ensure that locked-off equipment cannot be reactivated until everyone has completed their work and safe operation can continue. Usually used during maintenance periods, locked machines cannot be operated while workers may be at risk. This straightforward and simple safety measure will keep you and your workers safe from harm at work.

Clever Decking

The new KlevaKlip for outdoor decks is an innovative product designed to make building timber decks quicker and easier. The claw-like metal clip is totally concealed and locks timber boards tightly into place without screws or nails, leaving consistent spacing between boards. According to the manufacturer, as the deck ages, KlevaKlip prevents nail heads from rising above the deck surface and causing possible injury, and maintenance and replacement time and costs are greatly reduced. The KlevaKlip system also reduces joist rot and provides a professional, long-lasting finish.
