Paid Maternity

HIA provides paid maternity leave to permanent members of staff with 12 months or more continuous service.

Paternity leave

HIA provides paid and unpaid paternity leave provisions for qualifying staff.

Leave Equalisation

HIA has a 50/52 leave equalisation policy which allows participating employees to have up to 2 weeks additional leave per year (6 weeks in total) by salary sacrificing a fixed amount of their salary each week.

Study Assistance

HIA has a policy which enables employees to continue their tertiary education while working. The program assists staff with tuition fees and allows time off for study or to attend lectures.
