On 30 May, Dan Thompson MD of Nissan Australia and Ron Silberberg MD of HIA met in Melbourne to confirm a new arrangement where HIA members can enjoy the benefits of exclusive preferential pricing across the entire current Nissan product range. Plus, on top of the preferential pricing, members are also eligible for retail campaign offers available at the time of purchase. This new arrangement is significantly better than the traditional ABN-National Fleet pricing available on utility models only.
With Nissan being one of Australia’s major light commercial vehicle and SUV suppliers, they are ideally suited to meet the needs of the association’s members work requirements. HIA Managing Director, Ron Silberberg said, “The extension of the special price discount to sedans and four-wheel drives is a first among motor vehicle manufacturers and should be well-received given the number of HIA members who use sedans for company vehicles.”

Exciting news from Nissan is the imminent release of Turbo Diesel X-TRAIL and extra model variants for the D40 Navara range.
Nissan is launching Turbo Diesel X-TRAIL variants during July which are the first volume selling diesel variants available in the compact SUV segment. With these engines producing 90% of their prodigious torque from a low 1,950 rpm, the Turbo Diesel X-TRAIL will deliver excellent performance while being remarkably fuel efficient.
New to the D40 Navara range this month are Single Cab and King Cab variants. These new models will be available initially in Cab Chassis form only will round out our successful and award winning Dual Cab range.
Eligibility:
Eligibility is easy with all current financial HIA members able to purchase vehicles at this pricing. Eligibility is confirmed by a valid membership card (confirmed id with drivers licence) which must be sighted and copied as part of validation. The vehicle must be registered in the member’s name or the member’s business name with appropriate proof of link to business name required. In the case of the membership being in a business name and the vehicle registered in an individual’s name then the reverse is required for the Nissan dealer to substantiate eligibility (ie, proof of ownership or directorship of said business).
HIA pricing is strictly not transferable to any person other than the member.
