Margaret Granger is an experienced officer of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship working in partnership with HIA to help members better understand how to use the department’s services to address skilled labour shortages.
Located in HIA’s National Office in Canberra, Margaret is able to provide ‘in-principle’ advice and support to HIA members who are seeking to employ overseas workers to meet their skilled recruitment needs. She is available to discuss migration matters on a one-to-one basis or to provide broader information services to larger members about visa options and immigration processes.
In relation to offshore skills where shortage of skills are causing bottlenecks, there is the temporary 457 visa pathway that can be considered to address workforce issues. Margaret can assist with queries about sourcing temporary skills from offshore also.
