The HIA youthBUILD Foundation aims to formally promote work experience placements by servicing students considering housing careers and at the same time strengthening the link between school, the building industry, business and community stakeholders.

This placement service is an educational resource and work experience program which promotes to students the benefits of taking up a career in the home building industry via quality work experience placements.

The program is available to all metropolitan schools and students across Years 10 to 12 who are seeking an opportunity to enjoy the benefits of quality vocational training and the opportunity to gain valuable workplace skills in the residential building industry.

The Housing Industry Association is striving to be the provider of choice in leading prospective entrants to rewarding and innovative vocational training and employment opportunities in the home building industry.
