Creating content for Social Media - Creating content for Facebook, Instagram and other social media channels can be challenging. In this session you will learn how to understand what 'content' is, best practice for social media and how you can make sure you never run out of ideas.

Kitchen & Bathroom Trends for 2020 - The Kitchen and Bathroom Blog: This session will look at what’s new in kitchen and bathroom design, overseas trends and what to expect in the year ahead that could set you apart from your competitors.

Apprentices the next Generation - The greatest labour challenges the Construction Industry faces; options and solutions; making informed business decisions regarding recruitment strategies; what to know when engaging a Group Training Organisation. Attracting Apprentices, training, mentoring and understanding Generation Z.

Service NSW -Tools for Small Business - Service NSW for Business reduces the time, cost and complexity to open or grow a small business in NSW. The service features a dedicated offering for the Housing Construction sector, providing one contact point to assist with three levels of government and one convenient location to understand the processes involved, regulations, licences and permits required to set small business owners up for success.

The Service NSW Customer Care Service has specialists to help guide you every step of the way including access to financial support for impacted businesses, registering for the NSW Government bushfire cleanup service and help replacing any lost or damaged documents.

Small Business Administration - First Class Accounts will be presenting an update on current Technology/Apps that are available to small builders to increase the efficiencies for doing your accounts and being able to track exact job costs for true profit analysis.

Building Sessions

Managing the Builder-Client Relationship - Managing the relationship with your client can be trying at times, but how do you deal with the client who wants to get more involved? How do you deal with client involvement? What are the risks? This session will look at a range of common scenarios and provide tips and guidance to protect your contract and your business.

Window Installation and NCC Compliance  - This presentation will run through the latest changes to Flashing requirements under the NCC, acceptable solutions, as well as industry best practises for installation of windows and doors.

Moisture management in houses – Principles and Practices - Changes to NCC energy efficiency provisions leads to changes to established construction practices. This discussion introduces principles and practices in the management of internal and external moisture during construction to achieve compliant buildings incorporating BlueScope roofing and walling products.

There will also be the keynote on NSW’s unprecedented bushfire season – counting the cost, as well as a presentation from Department of Planning, Industry and Environment on ePlanning.
