HomeBuilder – What you need to know

The Federal Government announced the HomeBuilder stimulus package on 4 June 2020.

HIA has developed information about the stimulus package here.

The grant is being implemented through a National Partnership Agreement by the states and territories.

Each state and territory government has been releasing further information regarding the operation and administration of the grant based on the Federal government guidelines.

NT: On 31 July the Northern Territory Government released details of how the HomeBuilder program will operate. HIA has developed information for members here.

NSW: On 25 July the NSW Government released details of how the HomeBuilder program will operate. HIA has developed information for members here.

VIC: On 24 July the Victorian Government released details of how the HomeBuilder program will operate. HIA has developed information for members here.

WA: On 24 July the WA Government released details of how HomeBuilder and the Building Bonus will operate. HIA has developed information for members here.

SA: On 17 July the SA Government released details of how the HomeBuilder program will operate in. HIA has developed information for members here.

ACT: On 15 July the ACT Government released the first details of how the HomeBuilder program will operate. HIA has developed information for members here.

Tasmanian: In June the Tasmanian Government enacted the HomeBuilder Grants Act 2020 to give effect to the Tasmanian and Commonwealth HomeBuilder incentives. HIA has developed information for members here.
