  • No change to restrictions for home building and renovations – Victoria

    Despite the build-up and expectation for today, the Premier has held off making any further announcements for easing of restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne. Further decisions will be made pending the results of testing around an outbreak of COVID-19 in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, hopefully in the next few days.

The permitted work goes beyond the limited information provided yesterday by the government. It is now clear that building work at occupied homes when done outdoors is permitted.
