Today the Queensland Government announced that from 1am on Monday 13 September 2021, the Queensland/NSW border zone will be reinstated.

This means that if you are a border zone resident you will be able to travel across the Queensland/NSW border for essential work once you have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Building Amendments (Small Second Dwelling) Regulations 2023 Update

Building Amendments (Small Second Dwelling) Regulations 2023 introduced on 14 December 2023 permit the construction of a Small Second Dwelling (SSD) on an allotment that contains an existing Class 1a dwelling without the need for a Planning Permit in most cases.
