HIA and the HIA Charitable Foundation have teamed up with Beyond Blue to provide resources to help people to manage their mental health in the building industry. HIA understands the stigma surrounding mental health and is offering members the best tools to tackle this issue head on.
Small business advisers – free learning course
Beyond Blue are offering a free learning course to help business advisers support small business owners and clients.
This course is designed to help improve the mental health understanding of small business owners/managers and develop the ‘soft skills’ needed to have difficult conversations with a client or colleague. The course has been specifically designed for the workplace, takes around one hour to complete and covers four topics.
