Rebecca Bishop of Elite Building Services in Victoria was named the 2022 HIA Australian Business Partner during the 2022 HIA–CSR Australian Housing Awards presentation on 23 April.
This is the second time that Rebecca Bishop has won the HIA Australian Business Partner award, previously winning in 2020. The Business Partner award recognises those working off-site to run a business within the residential building industry.
Rebecca Bishop is a true all-rounder in her business, local community and in giving back to the building industry. Over the past 18 months, she has mentored and assisted other builders in navigating COVID19 requirements to elevate the reputation and efficiency of the building industry.
While Rebecca is impressively involved in all aspects of the business, she was congratulated by the judges for recognising the need to engage a business coach to guide her with marketing, succession planning and business development. Her determination, relationships with clients and clear processes contribute to the success of Elite Building Services.
HIA’s Managing Director Graham Wolfe said the HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards recognise the best in Australia’s residential building industry.
“HIA is committed to recognising the outstanding achievements of our members. The HIA-CSR Australian Housing Awards allow us to acknowledge the skill and commitment of our members who excel in building exceptional homes, kitchens and bathrooms and have highly successful businesses.
“My congratulations also goes to our future tradespeople – our apprentices – who strive to be the best in all their pursuits. And to the professional builders and business partners who are ahead of the game in customer service, design and innovation, building quality and business practices,” Mr Wolfe added.
The awards are the ultimate platform to showcase the talents of the nation’s top builders and designers, with the winners selected from state-based finalists in 23 separate categories.
The Business Partner category award is partnered by HIA Insurance Services.
