This Canberra apartment renovation demonstrates refined design and exceptional workmanship, all delivered within the constraints of an existing multi-storey building. With the apartment facing south, opportunities to capture light were limited. Instead, a light-toned palette was selected to enhance brightness and create a harmonious atmosphere. The curved floor plan was both a challenge and an opportunity, resolved through bespoke curved joinery and meticulous spatial planning that maximises flow and connection to views. Site logistics added further complexity, with access limited to a small shared lift and the original structure requiring significant rectification. Despite these hurdles, the result is a luminous and cohesive home that transforms existing limitations into an elegant interior, demonstrating the value of precision, collaboration and skilled craftsmanship.
