Designed to sympathetically integrate with its surrounds, this home in Flinders is a striking example of bespoke residential architecture on a grand scale. The materials palette blends raw finishes with refined luxury, including textured concrete, timber detailing and extensive use of natural stone. The home boasts a range of technological innovations too, with a custom-engineered façade system, adaptive shading and an energy efficient heating and cooling system. Sustainable materials and passive design principles were incorporated, and the expansive glazing frames breathtaking views in multiple directions.

Innovative structural solutions were required to achieve the home’s seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, and examples of the builder’s technical expertise include the substantial cantilevered section of the upper floor. The builder has demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the process of delivering home, with perhaps the greatest example being the central curved staircase. Formed on site, the builder went to painstaking lengths to ensure its flawless execution, and the round skylight above makes it a focal point of the interior.
