"Introducing Cloudbreak, a five-level residence designed and built by Mactech Constructions. Positioned on one of the Gold Coast's most iconic coastal sites, the home delivers the privacy and permanence of a standalone residence while resolving the challenges of dual occupancy living. The plan rises from a basement wellness retreat and cinema, through children's and master levels, to open-plan living and a rooftop terrace complete with pool, spa and helipad. A series of glass floor panels connect all five levels, filtering daylight deep into the home. Fixed elements such as the island bench and integrated dining table were poured in situ and finished in microcement, grounding the interiors with sculptural permanence. Careful attention to materials, circulation and light ensures each level has its own character while contributing to the clarity of the overall architecture. Cloudbreak stands as a benchmark in coastal residential design, balancing ambition with enduring liveability."
