2021 HIA-CSR North Queensland Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards
Winner: Keir Constructions (Townsville)
The design brief was to create a relaxed North Queensland tropical vibe throughout the home. This was achieved by selecting a white colour scheme with lighter coloured raw timbers and cane. The addition of white plantation shutters contributes to a tropical look which then evokes a relaxed state. The raking ceiling in the living area is complimented with the higher than standard windows and sliding glass door. The openness and sense of space creates great airflow resulting in a comfortable living atmosphere.
