The HIA Apprentices program works because it allows hosts to focus on what matters most to their business. We hire apprentices and remain their legal employer for the duration of their apprenticeship while they are placed with you – our host employers. That means we take care of the recruitment, administration, wages and entitlements, education, training and mentoring of the apprentice, all of which is a considerable time investment for a busy company.
