Alucity Architectural Product Supply

Alucity Architectural Product Supply is a fabricator of the Darley Aluminium window and door systems, designed for residential and commercial applications. Based in Australia, Alucity, in partnership with Darley Aluminium, works closely with its extrusion factory in China to manufacture finished doors and windows using its Australian-designed and tested systems. With its team of experienced project coordinators and managers, Alucity will proficiently process and manage your project from start to finish.

‘The Alucity process has been beneficial to a number of our fabrication customers. Limited manufacturing capability and resources no longer has to be an obstacle when quoting on projects and tenders,’ says Jeff Mant, Alucity project manager. ‘A lot of our projects are from repeat customers, who have dealt with us in the past and know we will provide them with quality windows and doors, and efficient service and support.’

Surface finishes and hardware

As part of the Darley Group, Alucity fabricates finished window and door systems in all its projects. The company works closely with Darley’s extrusion factory to manufacture windows and doors using the Australian National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) designed and tested systems that complies with Australian Standard AS2047.

Alucity and Darley Aluminium have a long-standing and well-established relationship with one of the largest aluminium extrusion factories in China. This close relationship means the company has the flexibility and resources to modify and enhance the Darley system to meet your individual project requirements.

Alucity can assist any window and door fabricator according to the level or capacity they require. Samples of the paint finish, glass and hardware are provided for approval prior to procurement of product for fabrication.

After placing your order, the Alucity team will get the process rolling by connecting with you to understand all the elements you require for your individual project. In order to provide a tailored quotation, the team will request supporting documentation, such as project drawings and specifications. Alucity’s software platform will then generate a customised and detailed quotation based on your communications.

Production schedule

Once the schedule has been established, the Alucity team liaises with the fabricator in China to book in the production. When this is finalised, a supply agreement is issued for signing and the fabrication process will begin.

Delivery and shipping

As part of the Darley Group, Alucity has the advantage of utilising Darley’s infrastructure, resources and nationwide stock availability. The company can liaise with Darley Aluminium regarding delivery of aluminium and hardware supplied nationally. Alucity can also liaise with the fabricator and the shipping agents concerning all shipping documentation required.

Warranties, service, completion

Upon completion of the project, relevant documentation such as warranties are then provided. Whether it’s a large-scale project supplying windows and doors for a multi-level apartment building or a small-scale design, Alucity’s comprehensive and well-established process can help you to manage the whole project from beginning to end.
