Switch to extract

The NikolaTesla Switch is the latest downdraft induction cooktop from Elica.

Previewed at this year’s EuroCucina, the NikolaTesla Switch, designed by Fabrizio Crisá, is the latest downdraft induction cooktop from Elica.

Revolutionising cooking with the use of sensors, the downdraft and induction cooktop by Elica reaches high performance levels in terms of fume and odour extraction. Concealed within the cooktop surface sits a rotating central glass circle surrounded by a cast-iron ring. The extraction functionality is engaged when the circular element is rotated, guaranteeing total air control through the innovative flap.

The NikolaTesla Switch is impressively silent and is available in both a filtration and extractor version.
