Fair Work information statement updated

As an employer, if you employ a new employee you are required to provide the Fair Work Information Statement (FWIS) to that employee when they commence or very soon after. This document sets out minimum employment entitlements and protections. The FWIS has recently been updated to reflect the new entitlement of 5 days unpaid family and domestic violence leave as part of the National Employment Standards. The FWIS can be obtained from the Fair Work Ombudsman.
