NSW Workers compensation disputes, complaints and unresolved enquiries

Our experience shows that early engagement between parties where possible can prevent workers compensation issues from developing into complaints or disputes.
If you disagree with a decision or a proposed decision by your scheme agent, we suggest that you discuss this with them first. If you have a complaint, we encourage you to contact your case manager in the first instance. Where early resolution is not achieved, clear pathways are offered by the improved dispute resolution system, which was introduced this year by the NSW Government. From 1 January 2019, employers and other stakeholders with complaints or unresolved enquiries should contact SIRA on 13 10 50.
