Return to work programs

February 19, 2019

A Return to Work (RTW) program is a formal plan that outlines general procedures for handling work related injury or illness. RTW programs are compulsory for all employers in NSW, and should represent an employer's commitment to health, safety and recovery of workers following an incident. The requirements of these programs depend upon the level of worker's compensation insurance coverage that the employer has.

More guidelines for workplace return to work programs can be found on the SIRA Website.
