Contract administration short course

HIA Workplace Services team will be running a short course on contract administration that will provide builders and their contract administrators with information about how to prepare and administer HIA residential contracts.
Attendees will gain an understanding of the legislation relevant to residential contracts, rights and obligations of both parties, key contract terms and how to manage common contractual disputes.

Many members fall into the habit of administering contracts according to out of date practices and without properly understanding the legislation that applies. It is therefore important to ensure builders and their contract administrators are aware of the current rules to minimise the risk of costly and lengthy contractual disputes.
