New dates for contract administration short course

We confirm that the HIA Workplace Services team is now running a short course on contract administration on a regular basis.

The course provides builders and their contract administrators with information about how to prepare and administer HIA residential contracts. The course addresses legislation relevant to residential contracts, rights and obligations of builders and owners, key contract terms and how to manage common contractual disputes.

Due to the interest received the course date set down for 20 March 2020 is at full capacity with registrations now closed.

We are accepting registrations for the following dates:

  • Friday 24 April 2020 
  • Friday 29 May 2020

The course is held at our Jolimont office and runs from 1.00pm - 5.00pm. The cost to attend is $50.00 per person. To register please send a request with your nominated date via email and you will be contacted for further information.

The HIA is also considering offering the course at our Bendigo and Geelong offices later in the year. If you are interested in attending the course at one of these locations please let us know via email along with the number of attendees and we will provide further information once details have been confirmed.
