Partnering with HIA on mental health initiatives
August 13, 2019
Mental Health is a major issue across all industries. Up to 25% of people working in the construction industry may experience a mental health condition this year. It is costing the industry in terms of lost knowledge, skills, training and productivity and adversely affecting the lives and mental wellbeing of workers.
HIA is committed to improving mental health and wellbeing of our members. We are interested in working with members to support you to identify particular work related risk factors, and develop specific prevention solutions to manage those risks. HIA will also promote the outcomes that are sought by the member company. There will be direct benefits for all participating members.
You can register your interest to be involved and work with HIA in this major state wide initiative. As mentioned we are actively seeking partners for this project.
If you are interested, a workshop will be held on Thursday 22 August 2019 at 10:30am at HIA 70 Jolimont St, East Melbourne to provide you with more details.
Registrations of interest to participate in this project and to confirm your attendance at the workshop should be submitted by Tuesday 20th August 2019 to Evan Dukas, Commercial Manager by email.
