Small lot housing code - what are your thoughts?

February 05, 2019

Late last year the Victorian Planning Authority commenced a review of the Small Lot Housing Code.

The Code was initially implemented in 2011, with the aim of supporting housing affordability and choice in Melbourne’s newest suburbs and growth areas. The Code outlines specific requirements for houses on lots less than 300 square metres, which if met, can eliminate the need for a planning permit.

If you want to find out more, see the current Small Lot Housing Code.

In anticipation that the review will continue into the coming months, if you have any comments to make in relation to the Code please call Teresa Davis on 9280 8230, or alternatively, you can email Teresa.
