September 15, 2019

From Friday 16 August, distribution customer projects will be subject to a new fee structure from Western Power.

The revised fee structure will apply to distribution applications including:

  • Isolations
  • Relocations
  • Unmetered Supplies
  • External design and construct

The new fees will include a non-refundable upfront application fee ($495), new design fees (starting at $1320) and revised information/conformance services fees.  Design fees are non-refundable however, they will be deducted from the access offer if you decide to proceed with your project.

For residential overhead to underground conversions priced at $3400 or $4900, the $495 fee will be deducted from the invoice amount. The applicant will pay the application fee and then receive an invoice later for the remainder.
