Ersin describes starting his apprenticeship as one of the best decisions he's ever made - and the judges are in clear agreement with him.

On site he takes responsibility for a wide range of tasks: from reading and interpreting plans and ordering materials through to framing and finishing carpentry. Approaching every day with an attitude of the more you put in, the more you get out has led to Ersin becoming an excellent, well-rounded carpenter, who is well placed to take the next step in his career.

In addition to his commendable work ethic and the wide range of skills he has developed, Ersin has proven himself as someone who is eager to learn, both on the tools and off. His host cites Ersin's constant thirst for knowledge as one of his many positive qualities, and the judges noted that Ersin has been dedicating himself to learning the NCC and taking extra courses to upskill himself. Looking ahead, Ersin aspires to become a project manager, applying his technical and leadership skills to oversee complex projects and deliver them to the highest quality standards. In the eyes of the judges, Ersin is doing all the right things to achieve those goals and more.
