HIA maintains the HIA Code of Ethics in order to promote and reinforce confidence in the residential building industry and in HIA as embodied by our members who have committed to the ethical standards established by the Code of Ethics.
If you want to file a complaint against a HIA member, you can do so online.
Note: As a membership association, HIA cannot make an enforceable decision regarding a compliance matter, specifically in relation to an alleged breach of contract or technical issue. In these instances, it is recommended that consumers obtain their own independent legal advice.
