HIA Australian GreenSmart Awards recognise those who build or design environmentally-friendly homes and provide solutions to make homes more efficient.
Award winners and finalists are making a positive difference to the environment. Leading by example, they are inspiring other HIA members to build sustainable, energy efficient and comfortable homes for their clients.
Submission Period: 17 January to 20 June 2022
All entries are securely submitted online.

Each entry is $220 including GST.
Entry fees must be paid by credit card at the time of entry.
Judging is conducted by a national judging panel of industry experts in the field. Site visits are not undertaken. Your project is judged on the information provided in your submission.
Winners will be announced online on 13 September 2022.
Entrants are notified if they are successful as a finalist prior to the announcement. Each winner is acknowledged in a comprehensive online feature with judges’ comments and images of the project.
You can enter as many times as you like, as long as each of your projects satisfies the entry requirements and Conditions of Entry.
