Heritage Renovation

A home with an abundance of character, Freedom Built has taken it upon themselves to honour the past and pay homage to this incredible heritage home in one of Canberra's most historic and prestigious suburbs. This home was brought back to life with a French provincial theme, which runs throughout and suits this early 1900's home to a tee. Herringbone stained floors and wainscoting really give this a point of difference to what you typically see in the modern day renovation. The scope of works for this renovation included the demolition and refurbishment of the existing bathrooms, laundry, bedrooms, living, office/music space, private lounge, informal lounge, kitchen and dining. Careful consideration was taken with the design stages all the way through construction to ensure a seamless connection with new to old. Detailed renders, elevations, fitting and fixture plans created a smooth construction phase and can be seen in the quality of finish. The tastefully selected colour palette and thoughtfully refurbished living areas create an inviting family home, one to be shared with the owners growing families for years to come
