Custom Built Home
2021 HIA-CSR Western Australian Housing Awards
Winner: Averna Homes
Perfectly designed with a corner aspect overlooking the Swan River, this resort-style home was designed with modern and harmonious aesthetics in mind.
The space exudes relaxed sophistication with a balanced blend of natural materials, colours and textures. The living areas open onto the infinity-edge pool and heated spa alfresco area, including a cabana area.
The home features three two-storey void areas, including over the outside area, which creates a sense of space and floods the home's interior with natural light. This is combined with the automated windows to provide natural ventilation and cooling for most of the year. Hydronic underfloor heating throughout both levels and the alfresco area ensures comfortable living.
The interior is well-considered and includes a home theatre, ample children's bedrooms, master ensuite with generous dressing room, and a four-car storage garage accessible from the lower road level.
