Celebrate History in the Making: The Inaugural 2026 HIA Hunter Building Women Luncheon & Awards

Be part of a milestone moment for our local industry. For the very first time, the Housing Industry Association brings this inspiring event to the Hunter region. Hosted at the scenic Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club, this landmark luncheon unites industry leaders, rising talent, and changemakers from across the residential building sector.

Join us for an afternoon of elite networking, professional recognition, and celebration. Running from 11:30am to 3:00pm, the event begins with welcome drinks and networking, followed by a premium two-course meal, our keynote presentation, and the awards ceremony. Guests will enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with live music from the talented Claudia Mackay, alongside powerful insights from our keynote speaker, renowned Leadership Development Specialist Suzy Miller.

The awards ceremony includes the presentation of our inaugural major accolades, celebrating excellence across five distinct categories: Administration Executive, Business Mentor / Leader, Executive Leadership, Professional Business Woman, and Tradeswoman of the Year. These presentations will culminate in the announcement of the prestigious Building Woman of the Year Award.
