What's it all about?
{{ propApi.expandedIcon }} {{ propApi.collapsedIcon }}

As from 1st July 2012 the South Australian Government has regulated the “mandatory” notification of local authorities and the signing of a Supervisors Roofing Checklist by a registered building works supervisor. This supervisor is required to have successfully completed training, such as this HIA Training course, to gain the necessary registration.

Participants who successfully complete this 6 hour course will be issued with a Statement of Completion and a wallet sized HIA plastic identification card containing an identifying number, which will be provided to the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI). Those successful participants with a Building Works Supervisors Licence for Residential Building Work or Carpentry will then be authorised to sign the required supervisor’s checklist.
