Porter Davis has been acknowledged as one of the top building companies in Australia at the recent 2019 HIA–CSR Australian Housing Awards, after taking home the coveted 2019 HIA Australian Professional Major Builder award.
The announcement was revealed in front of hundreds of industry professionals at the gala dinner on the final night of the HIA 2019 Conference on 25 May in Perth.
This is not the first time the company has been touted as an industry leader, with Porter Davis winning the Australian Professional Major Builder award in 2017.
Porter Davis puts a strong emphasis on fostering a positive learning culture, and keeps its finger on the pulse by watching the market and changing the business accordingly. The company said it is passionate about engaging with its team to deliver high-quality service and results, instilling the business' philosophy into its day-to-day operations.
HIA Managing Director Graham Wolfe said the awards showcase the best in Australia’s residential building industry.
'HIA is committed to recognising our members who excel in building exceptional homes, kitchens and bathrooms,' he said. 'We also recognise the professional builders and business partners who are ahead of the game in customer service and business practices.'
The HIA–CSR Australian Housing Awards are the ultimate platform to showcase the talents of the nation’s top builders and designers. Winners are selected from state-based finalists, with awards in 22 separate categories.
The Professional Major Builder category acknowledges home builders, with an annual turnover of $50 million or more, who demonstrate their commitment to customer service, business management and leadership.
