Western Australian company Inspired Homes has taken out the 2019 HIA Australian Project Home award, presented on home soil in Perth at the HIA–CSR Australian Housing Awards ceremony on 25 May.
This year’s award winners were unveiled before hundreds of industry professionals at the prestigious awards ceremony held on the final night of the HIA 2019 National Conference.
Offering immediate and beautiful street appeal, the winning project home combines natural stone and cool-toned rendering making its facade an inviting taste of what’s inside. From the bathroom through to the wardrobes, dark, glossy finishes give a relaxed feeling.
In addition to the high energy rating and home automation system, the judges were impressed with the modern take on transitional living, which sees the indoor and outdoor living spaces integrated perfectly and situated next to a generous pool.
The entertaining options continue with a luxurious and spacious home theatre – complete with recliners and black-out curtains.
The Project Home category criteria is for an individual house based on a display home, sales brochure or the like for a repeatable design, tailored to suit the needs of the client and the site. This includes manufactured or prebuilt homes assembled onsite.
Western Australia won five national housing awards in total, including the Apartment of the Year, Renovation/Addition Project, Specialised Housing and the Small Professional Builder/Renovator categories.
