Quiet, compact, lightweight and eco-friendly, Ledvance’s new mobile UVC HEPA Air Purifier captures airborne pollutants, germs and dust, and pushes clean air back out into the room or vehicle.
The portable device eliminates up to 99.9 per cent of viruses – including COVID-19 – and bacteria with UV-C radiation.
For builders or transport professionals on the road that are keen to ensure their clients feel safe, the device easily plugs into the vehicle’s USB or 12v charger accessory unit. The UVC HEPA Air Purifier is the same size as a large coffee cup, and it’s designed to fit perfectly into a vehicle’s drink holder. The air purifier has the added benefit of cleaning the air from pollen, microdust and odours, including cigarette smoke.
When developing a new project – be it a custom-built home, a townhouse or display home – it’s important to get the right look for clients.
Turn to Beaumont Tiles which has released data from more than 20,000 Australians who took its recent ‘What’s My Style’ quiz. It shows that 51 per cent of Australians favour three styles – Traditional (20 per cent), Coastal (18 per cent) and Scandi (13 per cent).
According to Christie Wood, Beaumont Tiles Design Specialist, our love of these looks has solidified over the past five years.
‘Thanks to our warmer climate we are looking for openness and lighter spaces with these looks ticking the boxes for these requirements,’ she says.

For the seventh consecutive year, Metricon Homes is the nation’s largest residential builder. The HIA-COLORBOND® steel® Housing 100 Report recently ranked Australia’s largest 100 residential builders based on the number of homes commenced each year.
‘Metricon Homes reported a total of 5969 home starts, marginally lower than the 6052 starts the previous year,’ says HIA Chief Economist Tim Reardon. The largest 100 residential builders reduced their share of the new home building market from 44 per cent in 2020/21 to 36 per cent in 2021/22.
However, a notable feature was the return of apartment builders. Following the pandemic, a return to work and study is seeing this market continue to recover.
