With Stegbar’s eX Hybrid range, its thermal performance allows maximum window and door sizes while minimising costs.

Windows of opportunity

To combat rising costs of building materials during the transition to 7-star building standards, Stegbar has developed its thermally broken eX Hybrid range. Designed and made in Australia, eX Hybrid’s thermal performance allows maximum window and door sizes while minimising costs. Using this range may even reduce your investment in other building materials. It’s available in multiple configurations, custom-made and installed to your specifications.

In addition, Stegbar is giving you the chance to win 1 of 5 AEG Power Tool vouchers worth $5000 each. Simply request a quote for your next build using Stegbar’s eX Hybrid range or Energy Efficient Glass, and you’ll automatically go into the draw.

Engineered for speed and strength

MiTek Posi-Struts combine the strength of steel with the versatility of timber in a lightweight open-web design that offers clear-span flexibility and easy access to plumbing and electrical services. Faster to install – up to 30 per cent quicker than I-Joists* – they help reduce time onsite and minimise work at height, improving safety and efficiency.

With less waste, improved energy performance and customised design options, Posi-Struts are the smart choice for modern builds. Lower-cost materials don’t always mean better value – choose the floor system that delivers strength, speed and long-term benefits.

Raising the bar

Now on the market, the Jack FGReo bar is a new-generation reinforcing bar made from 70–80 per cent glass fibre and 30–40 per cent polyester resin. Crafted for durability and for use in multiple concrete and masonry applications, the 12mm FGReo bar is engineered to bond well with concrete.

It’s made to Australian Standard Grade 46, equating to a tensile strength of 740MPa. Its lightweight, non-conductive structure, in two-metre lengths, makes them easy to transport and handle onsite. Each length is coated to prevent fibre irritation (for safe handling), while each bar is easy to cut with a fine blade saw or grinder. The entire Jack range is available from Bunnings.
