The evolution of Villaworld Homes is a story of longevity and growth. Established on the Gold Coast in 1986, the business has spent nearly four decades refining a model centred on efficiency, reliability and customer value.
Since its acquisition by AVID Property Group in 2019, Villaworld Homes has undergone a significant transformation. Today, it operates with real-time visibility across its design, procurement and construction processes. This digital backbone enables tighter project control, improved cost management and consistent delivery outcomes for buyers.
Over the past two years, AVID has invested heavily in redesigning Villaworld Homes’ enterprise architecture, strengthening the business systems that underpin everything from product design to supplier coordination and on-site delivery.
According to Peter Wood, AVID General Manager of Housing, this has been central to building a resilient and scalable business model. ‘These systems give us real-time insight into performance across the entire building lifecycle, from design through to construction and completion.’
The company’s product strategy also reflects this disciplined approach. Villaworld Homes’ refreshed ‘Inspired by You – Generation 2’ range features over 16 contemporary floorplans, five new facades and two specification levels, allowing buyers to choose a home that aligns with both lifestyle and budget.
‘Affordable housing doesn’t mean compromising on design or sustainability,’ says Peter, whose team was thrilled when they won the 2026 HIA Australian Professional Major Builder award partnered by Companion Systems. ‘Through smart design and strong supplier partnerships, we’re able to deliver high-quality homes that support the creation of connected, liveable communities.’
