Hunter homeowners and renovators set to gather at HIA Newcastle HOMESHOW

Media release
The Hunter region's largest and most successful home building and renovation event, the HIA Newcastle HOMESHOW, will return on Saturday 19 September, bringing together more than 100 exhibitors and thousands of homeowners, renovators and industry professionals under one roof.

Held at the HIA Home Inspirations Centre in Mayfield West, the free community event is expected to attract visitors seeking inspiration, expert advice and the latest products and services for their next building or renovation project.

HIA Executive Director - Hunter, Craig Jennion, said the HOMESHOW continues to be the region's premier destination for anyone looking to build, renovate or improve their home.

"Whether you're planning a new home, considering a renovation or simply looking for inspiration, the HIA Newcastle HOMESHOW is the perfect place to start," Mr Jennion said.

"With more than 100 businesses exhibiting and thousands of visitors attending each year, the event provides a unique opportunity to connect directly with industry experts, compare products and gather ideas for your next project."

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a vast range of products and services including new homes, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor living, landscaping, building materials, home technology, finance and much more.

The event offers free access to leading industry professionals, helping attendees make informed decisions and gain valuable insights for projects of every size and budget.

A major attraction on the day will be the chance to win a $10,000 bathroom furniture package thanks to Marquis, with all attendees eligible to enter the draw.

In addition to expert advice and product showcases, visitors can enjoy a range of family friendly activities and entertainment throughout the day including:

  • Ask an Expert: Free, all-day access to building and renovation professionals ready to answer questions.
  • Colour Consultants: Complimentary advice from colour consultations across numerous brands.
  • Community Support: Sausage sizzle BBQ supporting the HIA Charitable Foundation, plus an on-site coffee van.
  • Family-Friendly Entertainment: Keep the kids entertained with face painting, a roving magician, a baby animal farm, and a special appearance from Bob the Builder and friends.
  • Live Broadcast: NEWFM’s Nic & Joel will be broadcasting live throughout the day, bringing the fun, entertainment and plenty of chances to get involved.

Mr Jennion said one of the key advantages of attending the HOMESHOW is the ability to compare products, services and ideas in one convenient location.

"The HIA Newcastle HOMESHOW saves visitors significant time and effort by bringing the industry's leading businesses together in one place," he said.

"Whether you're at the planning stage or halfway through a project, you'll find the advice, products and inspiration you need to move forward with confidence."

"Year after year, the HOMESHOW continues to connect homeowners with trusted local businesses and industry experts, making it one of the Hunter's most anticipated home and renovation events."
