Structerre Consulting Announced as Headline Partner of the 2025 HIA WA Housing Awards

Media release
The Housing Industry Association (HIA) is pleased to announce Structerre Consulting as the headline partner of the 2025 HIA Western Australian Housing and Kitchen and Bathroom Awards.
As one of Australia’s leading multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firms, Structerre’s partnership reflects a shared commitment to recognising excellence in residential construction and supporting the growth and success of the housing industry across Western Australia.

HIA Executive Director WA, Michael McGowan, said Structerre’s leadership in the industry and long-standing engagement with builders make them an ideal partner for the awards.

“We are proud to welcome Structerre as our headline partner for the 2025 WA Housing Awards. These awards are an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of builders, trades, manufacturers and suppliers across all parts of residential building. The support of Structerre strengthens this recognition and reflects our shared goal of driving innovation, quality and professionalism across the industry.”

The HIA WA Housing Awards are the state’s most prestigious celebration of excellence in residential building, showcasing leading homes, renovations, kitchens, bathrooms, apartments, and townhouses from both metropolitan and regional areas.

John Gelavis, CEO of Structerre, said the company is proud to partner with HIA and continue supporting builders across all stages of the construction process.

“For 45 years Structerre has worked closely with builders, developers, architects and designers to help bring communities and projects to life. We’re proud to partner with HIA to champion the achievements of the industry and to celebrate the high standards being delivered across Western Australia.”

“Our partnership with HIA is not just about recognising excellence—it’s about helping HIA continue its important work advocating for the industry, supporting members, and driving positive change. We’re pleased to play our part in helping the association support the people and businesses who shape our built environment.”

The 2025 HIA Western Australian Housing Awards will be held on Friday, 28 November at Optus Stadium, bringing together industry leaders, finalists, and supporters to celebrate the very best in construction, design, sustainability and innovation in Western Australian housing.
