The result was announced in front of an audience of South Australia’s leading residential builders, designers and manufacturers at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
HIA South Australia Executive Director Stephen Knight said, “projects like this truly capture what South Australian design and construction are all about. It’s a perfect example of how contemporary design can be seamlessly integrated with heritage character — delivered with exceptional craftsmanship, creativity and attention to detail.”
The winning homes showcases exceptional craftsmanship and thoughtful design, delivering a luxurious yet rugged ambiance through features such as a sunken lounge, burnished flooring and a spa–sauna retreat that connects seamlessly to the outdoors.
Judges were particularly impressed by the impeccable detailing — from the secret powder room door and steel-framed openings to the precise tiling and clever use of materials — describing the transformation as sophisticated, innovative and beautifully executed.
2025 HIA South Australia Home of the Year is partnered by DW Fox Tucker Lawyers.

HIA recognised further outstanding projects and businesses on the night:
Artisan Joinery took home the 2025 HIA South Australian Kitchen of the Year (Partnered by Steedform) for an impressive renovation that demonstrated exceptional design cohesion and craftsmanship – deemed “a standout example of thoughtful design and quality workmanship”.
Diaz Homes was awarded 2025 HIA South Australian Bathroom of the Year (Partnered by Routleys Bathroom Kitchen Laundry) for a stunning ensuite that masterfully balanced raw texture with refined contemporary design.
2025 HIA South Australian Kitchen Design of the Year (Partnered by Hettich) was awarded to Craig Linke, for their beautifully executed kitchen that blended French-inspired elegance with modern functionality.
2025 HIA South Australian Bathroom Design of the Year (Partnered by Caroma) was awarded to Creative Home Renovations for their thoughtfully designed bathroom that was deemed both practical and elegant.
South Coast Constructions won 2025 HIA South Australian Residential Design of the Year (Partnered by Brickworks) for a striking coastal residence that integrated beautifully with the natural slope of its site, combining bold architectural form with warm, organic materials.

The Housing Industry Association (HIA) has congratulated the WA Cook Government on its strong economic management and decisive action to address housing supply challenges through the Mid-Year Budget Review.
“HIA is extremely disappointed with the Victorian government seeking to rush through their flawed buyer protection regulations during summer holidays,” stated HIA Victoria Executive Director, Keith Ryan.
