The Housing Industry Association (HIA) has proudly recognised South Australia’s outstanding women in building and construction at the 2026 HIA South Australian Building Women Awards, held at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
The event celebrated the achievements, leadership and impact of women who are helping shape the future of South Australia’s residential building industry.

Builders bring productivity and tax concerns to Canberra
The Housing Industry Association (HIA) is urging policymakers to focus on the factors holding back housing productivity, while warning that proposed changes to the taxation of discretionary trusts risk making it harder for small builders to invest, employ and deliver new homes.
